Leeds United v Brighton & Hove Albion Match Preview
Live coverage on Sky Sports at 3pm, Saturday 16th January 2021
- Brighton haven’t won any of their last nine league games
- The Seagulls have won five of their last six against Leeds United
- Six of Leeds’ last seven matches have each involved over 2.5 goals
Graham Potter is a man under pressure as he looks to steer his side to some much-needed wins, however the Seagulls have thus far been unbeaten on their travels when up against top-six sides and they have shared the spoils in eight games, more than any other Premier League outfit. Brighton also enjoy a solid head-to-head record against Leeds United although this was in the Championship and the West Yorkshire side have impressed for much of the current campaign.
Leeds United have been somewhat inconsistent and they have been hard to back with any conviction since the start of the season, however Brighton have been very consistent in that they really cannot seem to win and for this reason it is surprising to see the price of a draw being somewhat shorter than an away victory.
This has the makings of being a very closely-fought affair and at odds of 27/10, there’s value to be had in backing Brighton & Hove Albion to head home from Elland Road with a point for their troubles.
